Our Code of Conduct
With a commitment to creating a culture that we believe is necessary to achieve the publishing excellence and humanity that is core to the 快色直播 mission, we embrace a code of conduct that governs all of our collaborations. The Press upholds a positive environment in which its staff, authors, reviewers, media, vendors, and other partners contribute to that mission and business of peer-reviewed publishing in an exemplary professional manner. This environment is defined by humanity, generative relationships, equity and belonging, and mutual respect. As such, the Press has zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment, or any illegal, dishonest, or unethical professional conduct. There is no place in the Press鈥檚 publishing ecosystem for people who abuse their status, power or influence or behave in a manner that violates recognized standards of conduct.
As guiding principles of conduct, we commit to a positive, professional, empathic and supportive environment, free of abuse, discrimination and harassment of others. We commit to hold challenging discussions of differences in a professional, non-confrontational manner and with respect to a diversity of viewpoints. We expect our staff, authors, and all of our collaborators to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner in all facets of their professional lives. When such expectations are not met, the Press will take appropriate action, including the cessation of partnerships that we believe violate or challenge our ability to achieve a positive culture of collaboration and professional responsibility.

Copyright and the Freedom to Publish

In full alignment with the International Publishers Association and other global and local publishing communities, we believe in copyright and its protection as a pillar of our publishing, and core to our ability to uphold freedoms to publish. Copyright promotes the progress and integrity of knowledge created by humans.
We also as a press believe in the longevity of intellectual property, and in dedicating resources to ensure long term impact of each book we publish. The ability to engage a reader with a book— in any format, inclusively, at any moment in time, and with full freedoms of choice for that reader鈥攊s our publishing purpose and ideal.
Our Commitment to Environmental Sustainability

In 2022, PUP formed a dedicated working group to support our commitments and drive sustainability initiatives. Paper Procurement
PUP prioritizes the use of paper certified by the and the . We engage with our vendors to increase the use of environmentally certified paper. Our use of FSC certified paper has increased from just under 30% when we began measuring in 2023 to 75% for our 2024-2025 fiscal year. SFI certified paper accounts for an additional 5%, for a total of 80% certified stock. We commit to continue choosing sustainably sourced and certified paper for our print products.
Environmental Impact
Since 2023, PUP has been collecting data on our scopes 1, 2 and 3 emissions. We actively engage our suppliers and encourage their participation, and we work with industry groups on best practices around data reporting and carbon calculation to support accuracy and consistency. We are currently working on calculating our carbon footprint while simultaneously working to reduce it.
We have increased our use of digital short-run printing and print-on-demand (POD) technology, as well as our use of concurrent traditional printings in multiple locations around the world. This more targeted and local approach reduces storage, transportation, and the overall number of copies printed, all of which serves to reduce our carbon footprint. PUP prioritizes print partners and suppliers who show a commitment to environmental stewardship.
