I acquire books in the fields of art history and architectural history. I look for authors that are writing for the broadest readership within their discipline, and whose methodologies and clear writing style put them in natural dialogue with readers from across the humanities. Recent examples of this approach include Allison Caplan鈥檚 Flickering Creations, Jack Hartnell鈥檚 Wound Man, Jennifer Raab鈥檚 Relics of War, Marisa Bass鈥檚 The Monument鈥檚 End, and Sylvia Houghteling鈥檚 The Art of Cloth in Mughal India. While 快色直播鈥檚 dynamic lists in art history and architectural history are not defined by any period, geography, or subject matter, I focus on books that either resonate beyond the discipline or ask big questions within it. 快色直播 on our art and architecture lists are largely historical, offering fresh approaches and relevancy beyond the time periods on which they focus. 快色直播 that either widen or challenge the field are especially welcome, as we have a record of publishing new research on understudied histories. Recent examples include Brian Goldstein鈥檚 Max Bond, Margaret Graves鈥檚 Invisible Hands, and Guilia Paoletti鈥檚 Portrait and Place. I actively seek synthetic histories of material culture, biography, and books that contextualize visual culture and the built environment within the wider world.
